Many Federal agencies need to renovate their enterprise information systems while still providing access to legacy data stores. IT systems which have been in place for decades are often siloed and inadequately documented. The staff who built them have retired and these systems lag behind functionally. The legacy systems and data assets are both brittle and mission critical. Data analytics and data quality improvement are essential to mission success and management decisions.

JPSys has actively and effectively orchestrated complex modernizing of cross-agency legacy health IT systems and performed the required collaborative coordination among agencies and individual program offices despite the challenges of the COVID pandemic. The JPSys technical approach to IT solutions and services that provide technological leadership for the next generation employs the concept of a tight integration between the business functional requirements and system development, which we call “BusDevSecOps”. This approach puts the business stakeholders and end-users at the center of the SDLC, engaging them in every step of the agile, iterative production of the software application. By incorporating the continuous feedback of the business owners, we've enabled the enterprise to deliver results rapidly for the end-users. This approach helps to best align software functionality with changing business needs and deliver the expected results sooner.
