For the VHA, we provide subject matter experts for the development of international HL7 and other standards for the exchange of clinical healthcare data. We help ensure that their EHR systems are in compliance with tomorrow's international healthcare standards requirements.

VA Standards and Interoperability: Terminology Standards
We support the development of terminology-related healthcare data standards and policies to which VA must eventually comply. Also, this project provides guidance to VA software development teams on the use of and ramifications of data standards.

For the ONC at HHS, we lead the Federal Health Information Modeling efforts (FHIM), which is a program is intended to coordinate the efforts of the partner agencies in the development of Electronic Medical Records.

For the NCI at NIH, we performed business analysis on the processes for the caEHR. Our clinical business analysts met with clinical experts to analyze and document the various processes the patients go through in their treatments.
